About

Nick DeNardis has worked in the web industry since 2000 and is currently the Associate Director of Web Communications at Wayne State University. He has his Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University and is currently working on this MBA in Marketing at Wayne State.

Over the past eight years he has started out creating web applications for his father who owns a musical instrument rental/repair service and has expanded into freelance producing public facing web sites. He started in higher ed in 2003 when he was hired as a student assistant in the Web Communications department at Wayne State. From there he grew into a full time web developer then the lead developer and in 2007 became the manager of the Web Communications department which then turned into an Associate Director position.

Nick is a web standards and simplicity advocate, he strives for elegant solutions to complex problems. All of his work has great emphasis on accessibility and optimization for high load environments.

His hobbies include aggressive skating, wakeboarding and snowboarding.
